2. Payment

If you pay with a payment card, this is free of charge for private card types issued in the EU as well as Norway, Iceland and Switzerland.

NOTE: Fees of up to 1.55% are charged for the use of card types issued outside the EU, Norway, Iceland and Switzerland as well as business cards issued in the EU, Norway, Iceland and Switzerland. The fee is only disclosed on the order when the card number is entered. This also applies to MobilePay.

The amount for your purchase is only deducted from your account when the goods are dispatched.

When paying with international payment cards - such as Visa and MasterCard - the payment will be reserved on your account in accordance with the terms of your card, until we withdraw or reject the payment. No amount is reserved when paying with Dankort. If you pay with MobilePay, it is the payment card in the app that determines whether the payment is reserved.

In the event of sold-out goods, supplier failure or delayed delivery time, akikik.gl endeavors to inform the customer as soon as possible about this, and how the parties can resolve the matter - e.g. by crediting the purchase, or advice on finding a similar item in akikik.gl's selection.

Shipping of orders in Greenland

We will send your goods the following days via Tusass Post on Tuesdays and Thursdays after we have registered your payment.

Shipping of orders to Denmark

Akikik.gl only uses Tusass Post for all shipments and all orders are sent on Tuesdays and Thursdays after the payment has been registered.

You will receive an e-mail and confirmation that your item has been sent.

All orders are sent with track and trace, so you can follow the package

Delivery to Denmark takes place by air transport with Tusass.

However, delivery time can be 2-5 days

If you have chosen delivery to a parcel shop/parcel box where there is no space, your delivery will be redirected to a nearby parcel shop/parcel box.


Akikik.gl is responsible for product insurance to cover any damage or loss of the product during transport.

Customs and tax

If you live within the EU, you must be aware that customs and tax may be required.

You must pay customs if you buy goods on the Internet from a country outside the EU and the total price is more than 150 euros before shipping. This corresponds to approx. DKK 1,150. How much you have to pay in customs depends on the item.

You must also pay Danish VAT on all goods purchased in countries outside the EU

Collection of orders.

It is possible to pick up your item at Guutaap ​​aqq 4, 3911 Sisimiut by appointment.

An order for collection is deleted if it has not been collected no later than four working days after the order has been approved for collection, and the customer has received an email and/or text message to this effect.

As a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal when you shop with us. This follows from the Consumer Contracts Act.

The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day you received your item. If you have ordered several different items in the same purchase, but they are delivered individually, the deadline runs from the day you receive the last item.

The deadline means that you have 14 days from receipt to notify us that you want to cancel your purchase. You do this by sending an email to info@akikik.gl .

You cannot cancel the purchase by refusing to receive the item without notifying us at the same time.

Cancellation of part of the purchase
If you have purchased several items from us, you have the option of returning one or more items, even if they were purchased in one order.
However, this does not apply to bundles consisting of several items. Bundles are considered one combined item. If you wish to cancel the purchase of a product in a bundle, you must therefore cancel the purchase of your entire bundle and send all the goods back.
When you place a bundle order, this will be reflected in the shopping cart and your invoice.

Please note that you will not get the shipping costs back if you regret parts of your purchase.

Return
Once you have notified us that you want to cancel your purchase, you have 14 days to send the item back to us.
You must pay for the package to be returned yourself, and you are liable if any damage occurs during transport. You can order a return label from us when you create your cancellation case. If you have purchased your return label from us, we are liable if damage occurs during transport, provided the item has been properly packed. Read more about requirements for the item's condition when returning it below.

The package must be sent by delivery to our address, we recommend Tusas post if you are in Greenland. If you are outside Greenland, we recommend that you use PostNord or Fedex

No right of withdrawal
These agreements cannot be cancelled:

  • Delivery of goods that have been manufactured to your specifications or have been given a distinct personal touch.
  • Delivery of goods which can be assumed to deteriorate or become obsolete quickly.
  • Delivery of sealed goods which for health protection or hygiene reasons are not suitable for return and where the seal has been broken after delivery. For example (Shoes, Earrings, etc.). For these goods, the right of withdrawal only applies if the original packaging is intact
  • Delivery of goods which, due to their nature, are mixed together with other goods during delivery and cannot be separated again

The condition of the item when you send it back
When you return the item, it must appear in salable condition and as new. This means that you must test the product in any way necessary to determine its nature, characteristics or the way in which it functions. In other words, you must try the product in the same way as if you viewed it in a physical store, but the product must not be used.

If you have tested the item in a way other than what is described above, and this has resulted in its value being reduced, you are responsible for this and will only be refunded part of the purchase price. In certain cases, this may mean that you can only get the shipping costs back.

We recommend that you send the item back in the original packaging. If the original packaging is missing, it may lead to a decrease in the value of the item, as the item may suffer damage during transport, for which you will be liable.

Note that this is especially true for fragile electronic components that are delivered in antistatic packaging.

Products that are configured or set at your request are required to be reset to factory settings before being returned as a result of cancellation.

Refund of the purchase amount
If you regret your purchase, you will get your money back. If the item is impaired, we deduct the amount you are liable for.

We will refund all payments received from you in connection with the purchase, including delivery costs (however, this does not apply to extra delivery costs in cases where you have chosen a different form of delivery than the cheapest form of standard delivery that we offer), no later than 14 days from the day on which we have received your message that you wish to cancel the purchase.

We automatically return the money to the same means of payment that you used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed.

We can withhold payment until we have received the item, unless you send us documentation that you have returned it.

When you shop with us as a consumer, the rules of the Purchase Act apply to the purchase of goods. This means that you have the right to complain for 24 months.

Please create a complaint case by contacting us before sending the item. If your complaint is justified, this means that you can either get the item repaired, exchanged, the money back or a reduction in the price, depending on the specific situation.

For the products with a serial number on them, it is a condition for your right of complaint that the product can be identified. If the serial number is no longer present on the product and you cannot provide this, Akikik.gl cannot process your complaint.

You must advertise within a "reasonable time" after you have discovered the error. If you complain within two months of discovering the fault, the complaint will always be timely.


Condition of the item at the time of complaint
Remember to pack the product securely together with all accessories, e.g. Slippers, earrings and the like, which are linked to the product being advertised.

Damage to products caused by operating or handling errors, modifications or gross abuse is not covered by the right of complaint.
